A group of youth who recently joined the motherland, called on civil society organizations to intervene to lift the blockade imposed on the people detained in the Tindouf camps and allow them to return home. At the same time, a new group of 21 people joined Morocco after having fled the camps in Tindouf.

At a meeting held Saturday in Rabat, by the Moroccan National Institute for Youth and Democracy, the rallied youth expressed their pride and joy for joining the kingdom, particularly after hearing about the autonomy initiative presented by Morocco to put an end to the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.

They recounted the sufferings and tragedies endured by women and children detained in camps, while Polisario's leaders are taking advantage of international aid destined for the camps population.

"Polisario leadership leads a campaign of lies against Morocco, they said, calling on their brothers to grasp the first opportunity to escape the ordeal of the camps and return to their country and their families who enjoy stability, freedom and serenity guaranteed to them by their homeland, Morocco.

In this context, a new group of 21 people, including three women, has recently joined the Motherland, ending years of suffering in the camps of Tindouf in Algeria.

Aged 21 to 44 years, these people returned to the motherland after having managed to escape from the Tindouf camps.

In a statement to MAP, members of this group expressed their delight at joining the Motherland and find their relatives after years of suffering under extremely difficult conditions in the Tindouf camps.

This new group joined 116 other people, including 11 women and 9 children, who joined the Motherland fleeing the camps torture.
