Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, received Friday in Rabat, Mr. Christopher Ross, Special Envoy of Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations for the Sahara, who had been received Thursday by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the city of Tetouan.



The chairman and his guest, who is currently touring the region and expected in Tindouf, Nouakchott and Algiers in the coming days talked about the developments in negotiations aiming to find a solution to the Sahara conflict, in preparation for a practical and productive 5th round of negotiations, based on a compromise to the conflict proposed by the Kingdom of Morocco .

The meeting was attended by Dr. Maouelainin Ben Khalihenna Maouelainin, Council Secretary-General, Mr. Khadad Moussaoui, Council Vice-President and Mr. Mohammed Loulichki, Permanent Ambassador Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations.
