“The autonomy proposal, which allows the inhabitants of these provinces to run their own affairs, gained unanimity within Sahraouis and the political parties in Morocco” said Mr Abdellah Bouhi chairman of the league of the partisans of the autonomy of h Moroccan Sahara, the initiator of the event.

 After having mentioned that this project, which has gathered a substantial international support, was qualified by the last resolution of the security council of the UN being  a credible and serious proposal, he indicated that the opponents of the Moroccan territorial integrity find nothing to do apart from spreading allegations in order to impede the process of autonomy initiative.

 He equally added that this meeting aims at shedding the light on the national cause, and  denouncing the conspiracy of the opponents of the territorial integrity, as well as their schemes aiming to impeding any realistic and credible solution to this artificial problem

 The debates have discussed the dimensions and the content of the autonomy project, in addition to the legislative, executive and judicial attributions granted to the region
