China hopes that both parties reach a just solution to the Sahara issue

China hopes that “parties concerned by the Sahara issue will be supple, and overcome their differences in view to reach a just, lasting and acceptable solution for all on the basis of the UN resolutions” the Chinese minister of foreign affairs Mr Yang Jiechi underlined on Monday in Rabat .

Expressing himself during a press conference following a working session with Mr Taib Fassi Fihri , the Chinese official considered that such a solution “ will allow to strengthen and promote the process of integration of the Maghreb region “

Mr Yang Jiechi said to understand that Morocco “grants a great importance to this problem “which is “a legacy of history”.

“China as a member of the security council and as a responsible country will continue to work for an adequate solution to this problem “he underlined.
