They were numerous to respond to the call of the Association of Saharawi tribes in Europe (ATSE) for a meeting in Mantes-La-Jolie (Paris suburbs), an opportunity for them to reaffirm their unwavering attachment to their Moroccanity, to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and its sacred constants.
Participants in this meeting, marked by a massive presence of young people but also older people, said they had welcomed with relief the speech in which the sovereign states that "there is no room for ambiguity and duplicity "in terms of patriotism.
"The royal address was a relief to our hearts and empowers us in our approach, they say, adding they were impatiently waiting for a move by His Majesty the King in this direction. It is a speech that separates "the wheat from the chaff" and ends the maneuvers of certain individuals who take advantage of the climate of freedom in Morocco to plot with enemies of the motherland, they added.
Turning to the various steps announced in the royal speech, the speakers praised highly the Sovereign’s initiative making the Saharan provinces at the center the advanced regionalization process, making these provinces a model of devolution and good local governance.
In line with "Yes to autonomy" that marked their speeches, participants in the discussion reaffirmed their support to the Moroccan autonomy initiative in the southern provinces as part of the Kingdom's sovereignty and territorial integrity, a solution that will end this problem under the principle of "no winner nor looser."
This solution, they said, is likely to end the "suffering of our people in the camps of Tindouf" and open up new prospects for the Arab Maghreb Union.
They also highly praised the restructuring of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS) and reviewing the scope of the Saharan Provinces Development Agency, expressing the hope that the young (ATSE) members will be represented further in the new structure of Corcas.
Speakers took the opportunity to strongly condemn the actions of the named Aminatou Haidar, noting that the treatment she was subject to at Laayoune airport is "purely human", since human rights in Morocco is an irreversible choice.
This person continues to deny her link with her country which granted her all rights, they complained, saying that "anyone who acts like her deserves expulsion.
This is also the opinion of Mr. alouate member of "Izarguiyine" tribe, the one Aminatou Haidar belongs to, who insisted to say that the woman "represents only herself. "Our tribe is known throughout history for its loyalty and allegiance to the king and the country and does not skimp on the means to defend them," he retorted.
"She’s like a puppet using victimization as a business, hammered Lahcen Latif, ATSE President, adding:" I have never heard Aminatou Haidar defending women, widows and children kidnapped in Tindouf camps.
"She has also never condemned the serious violations of human rights perpetrated daily by the separatists in the camps", deplored for his part Mr. Nafea Ahmidouche, citing as examples the executions and torture in places like Rabouni, Reg Chiyeb, Lamtamir and Gouirat Diab, among others.
For Lahcen Mahraoui, ATSE spokesman Ms. Haidar is a person who has distanced herself from country and family. "Her whole family is Moroccan and lives in Morocco and has denounced the actions of their mislaid daughter," he added.
"She wants to get international recognition by the betrayal of her country which had granted her full civil rights, including the passport that allowed her to travel across the world to belittle the Kingdom," he said.
While wondering how this so-called " human rights activist " is able to finance, by herself, many trips abroad, if only through "the generosity of Algerian petrodollar, " Mr. Mahraoui said that we should not give this case a size that does not deserve, stating that the sole purpose of Aminatou Haidar is to publicize herself and try to become "heroin” on pro-Polisario media.
Other speakers shared these opinions, while reaffirming their commitment to defend the Moroccan Sahara and support the autonomy plan.
At the end of this meeting, a message was addressed to His Majesty the King, in which members of the Association of Saharawi Tribes in Europe and all participants at the meeting renewed their allegiance to the glorious Alawite Throne and reaffirmed their ongoing mobilization to defend the territorial integrity of Morocco against the inclinations of the enemies of the nation.
On the other hand, the Moroccan Associations in Italy reaffirmed their continuing commitment to thwart the maneuvers by the enemies of the national unity and all those who, by their actions or their words, offend the feelings of all Moroccans.
In a statement received at the MAP, these associations require the strict application of the law against anyone who would think of violating the sacred values and achievements of the nation or renounce his Moroccan nationality or found guilty of hostile acts against the Kingdom by serving vile objectives by the enemies of its unity and its territorial integrity.
There is now no place in Morocco for duplicity and double talk, said the network of Moroccan Associations in Italy strongly condemning the conduct of the named Aminatou Haidar and other individuals well known for their hypocrisy and their incitement to hatred, separatism and violence.
In this release, the network states the exasperation of the enemies of the national unity in front of the success at an international level, of the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco, the achievements made by the Kingdom which have been highly acclaimed by the international community and the intransigence displayed now vis-à-vis treachery and double talk.
The so-called Haidar uses Moroccan money, Moroccan passport and identity card to convey to the world a false image of Morocco, said the network mentioning the recent refusal by this women to comply, in Laayoune, to the usual formalities taken at all airports in the world as a provocative act part of deliberate foreign agenda.
Emphasizing their support for the measures taken by the Moroccan authorities against the so-called Haidar, the Association of Moroccans in Italy reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the unity of the nation and its sacred values and their constant mobilization for the defence of the unity and integrity of the Nation against anyone who tries to undermine them.
