"We deem that this project (autonomy) is interesting and represents a credible solution to put an end to the Sahara issue," the German Ambassador said in interview with Moroccan weekly Maroc Hebdo International.

   Klemm added that his country supports Morocco in its approach and backs efforts to settle the issue within the framework of the UN.

   The diplomat deplored the fact that this problem has hindered the construction of Maghreb.
