"Great Britain supports the United Nations' efforts to reach a political, just, lasting and mutually acceptable solution to the Sahara conflict," Martin Day told TV channel "Al Oula".
Great Britain, a permanent member in the UN Security Council, is for any proposal that leads to settling this regional dispute, he said.
He added that his country will spare no efforts to support the UN Secretary General’s Personal Envoy for the Sahara, Christopher Ross, in his endeavor to find a fair solution to the conflict deadlocked for over three decades.
