The Moroccan people are celebrating, on Friday, from Tangier to Lagouira, particularly, resistance family and Liberation Army, in the midst of an atmosphere of patriotic fervor and overall mobilization, the 30 anniversary of the recovery of Oued Eddahab province, major step in the course of completing independence and territorial unity.
The High Commissioner of Former members of the resistance and the Liberation Army, pointed out in an article on this occasion, that the celebration of this historic event reaffirms the will of the people of Morocco, under the wise and visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to preserve territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Morocco.
The High Commissioner said that on 14 August 1979, delegations of elders, dignitaries and representatives of all tribes of Oued Eddahab province came the capital Rabat to renew and reaffirm allegiance to Commander of the faithful, expressing their attachment to the glorious Alawite throne, reaffirming their adherence to Morocco's territorial integrity and frustrating plans and maneuvers of our enemies.
The delegation from the City of Dakhla and Oued Eddahab Province delivered to His Majesty the late Hassan II, may God bless him, the text of the eternal allegiance announcing their close association with homeland Morocco.
