Visiting Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe, Joaquim Rafael Branco, on Monday expressed his country's support to the autonomy plan proposed by Morocco in a bid to settle the Sahara issue.



   "We share Morocco's point of view and wish great success" to its initiatives, the PM told the press following a meeting with Foreign Minister, Taib Fassi Fihri.

    For his part, Fassi Fihri said king Mohammed VI "gives great importance to cooperation with friendly countries in Africa, notably bilateral relations with Sao Tome and Principe."
 
    Both sides have agreed on the need to strengthen bilateral relations, the minister also said.

    A delegation from Sao Tome and Principe, led by Prime Minister Joaquim Rafael Branco, started Sunday a three-day official visit to Morocco.
