By order of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God protect him, and upon the provisions of the Dahir on the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, the Council’s Chairman announces that the second regular session of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs for 2007, will be held on Dul hijja 7-8, 1428, corresponding to December 17-18, 2007, in the city of Smara, to study the following issue:
"Autonomy as final solution to achieve reconciliation and dignified return."



Pursuant to the wise royal directives, the agenda for this session includes: transportation networks and equipment to enhance the momentum of development and communications.

During this session, the Council will tackle in addition to addressing the national cause, a number of issues concerning local development, including major achievements, study of the projected ambitious projects, search for effective ways to respond to genuine and legitimate aspirations, likely to realize the Royal will, and the advancement of local, comprehensive and integrated development, within the national efforts in the path of unity, democracy, progress and solidarity, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God assist him.
