The launch of this site, which also presents the various activities of the Council and summaries of sessions, reflects the openness of the Council. This will enable all those interested written and audio-visual activities.
In order to bring the Council’s composition to the national and international public opinion, the Web site tracks the political profile of both the President of the Council and its Secretary-General, and provides access to all the 141 advisors through their e-mail or through the registration of personal comments to the management of the Council.
Mr Khalihenna Ould Errachid told MAP news agency that this site, available in Arabic, French, Spanish and English "will enable all visitors to have a real idea about the Sahara in the overall economic, tourism, political, cultural, and artistic aspects."
He pointed out that "the site is a project open for contribution to all the Moroccans, both within the Kingdom or for the diaspora," adding that it is one of several other sites under the portal www.sahara-online.net, which will be launched soon. "
