Corcas first regular session for the year 2009 which was held in Rabat on April 2-3 was concluded by loyalty and dedication message to His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, read out by Maoulainian Ben Khalihenna Maoulainian , the Council Secretary-General.




Message of loyalty and dedication

Following the conclusion of the first regular session of 2009 Of the Royal Consultative Council for Saharan Affairs

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah his family and companions

Your Majesty,
Commander of the faithful, grandson the Prophet PBUH
The supreme representative of this nation and the symbol of its unity

Sir May God bless you,
After extending obedience, loyalty commitment and faithfulness obligations , your servant Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, on the occasion of the conclusion of the 2009 first regular session of your majesty’s distinguished Council, is honoured to express on its own behalf and on behalf of all the Council members to your majesty our highest loyalty and sincerity obligations to your person, and their fidelity to the glorious throne upper, and their mobilization behind your leadership to be involved in the plans made by your majesty for the prosperity of your Kingdom.

Majesty,
During this session, we discussed two major issues constituting key points for economic and cultural development, relating to:
• water policy of solidarity for the sustainable development of Saharan regions
• Hassani Culture as a component of the Moroccan identity

Majesty,

The members of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs debated on the issue of water and the challenge it poses to humans in our dear Southern Provinces, taking into account the critical importance of the rule of water in achieving sustainable development, including health and environmental safety and the elimination of poverty and disease. He were based upon the accumulation of positive achievements that have been made on the ground and touched the requirements of citizens in relation to their economic and social environment.

Majesty,
This session also tackled the Hassani culture as a component of the Saharan personality  and its national position as a component of Moroccan rich and diversified identity. This component influenced and was influenced by the rest of the other components, thus shaping the Moroccan personality which is immune from any slippage or penetration against the principles and fundamentals forming our entity, our dear kingdom.


The interventions of the Council’s members highlighted important aspects, and stressing the achievements at the level of infrastructure and human resources, emphasizing the principles of true patriotism of the populations in the southern provinces which are proud of their belonging to the national state of Morocco, under the leadership of your majesty.

May Allah preserve you, as He preserved the Holy Quran, and may Him help you remain an asset and refuge for this nation. May God bless HRH crown prince Moulay Al Hassan, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, and all your Royal family.
