Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, President of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, held a press conference on Wednesday at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Paris, with representatives of various written and audio-visual media. He gave a detailed presentation of the Moroccan initiative to grant sweeping autonomy to the Sahara region, turn the page on the past and make reconciliation, as well as corcas functions updated for this purpose by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The questions dealt with the issue of Sahara conflict and the prospects of the Moroccan proposal to definitely turn the page of this conflict.

The symposium was attended by a range of important journalists representing the media in France, including Liberation, L’humanité de Dimanche, Le Figaro, Agence France-Presse (AFP), the Arab Maghreb News Agency, Associated Press, Jeune Afrique Yabiladi Website, France International Radio Monte Carlo radio.
