 A delegation of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, led by the President of the Council, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, had intensive contacts with a number of officials of the European institutions in Brussels, Belgium.





Mr Khali Hanna Ould Er-Erachid expressed at the end of this visit to the press his happiness to the useful meetings which members of the delegation held with various European officials, he added that this visit paved the way to clarify the proposal launched by his Majesty the King Mohammed vi concerning the autonomy in the Sahara region, within the Moroccan sovereignty, as a convenient solution, which answers the aspirations of sahraouis.
 On the other hand, the chairman of the CORCAS mentioned that the delegation was encouraged from different European officials in order to carry on in the same path, which goes along with negotiations to reach a political solution in concordance with the international legality that guaranties the interests of all parties concerned.

During this visit, which lasts three days, the delegation which consists of a number of the royal advisory council for Saharan affairs members among others the general secretary Ma Lainine Ben Khalihanna Malainine, held negotiations with officials of the European union, and European members of Parliament,, in addition to a meeting with Mr Iwaness Kassolidiss member of the European popular party and European democrats.

The delegation also held meetings in both, the Belgium congress and parliament, these meetings with different political parties and government officials mentioned before, was a proper opportunity to explain different aspects of the Sahara issue, and the reasons behind this conflict, and its consequences on the countries of the region, and also the failure of the United Nations to organize a referendum on the basis of the identity of all sahraouis;

During these meetings members of the CORCAS delegation explain the role of the council, as well as the alternative proposed by Morocco, being part of the policy of reforms practiced by his Majesty King Mohammed VI
