The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas) takes part, as part of the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in the work of the 50th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC), which began Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva and will continue until July 8.


At this session, Corcas is represented by a delegation consisting of Moulay Ahmed Mghizlate and Saadani Maoulainine, members of the Council.
The HRC will consider during this session the usual organizational and procedural issues and the annual reports of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the UN Secretary General, as well as other components.

These include the promotion and protection of all human, civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights, including the right to development.

The agenda of the session also includes the human rights situations that require the attention of the Council and the Universal Periodic Review for several member countries.
