CORCAS Takes Part in 37th Human Rights Council Session

The Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs is taking part within the official delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in the thirty-seventh session of the Human Rights Council, which is taking place February 26 through 23 March 2018 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

CORCAS is represented by a delegation consisting of Moulay Ahmed Mghizlate, CORCAS member and Hassan Sbaï, chief of staff.

This session will be marked, inter alia, by the presentation of the annual report by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and reports of the Office of the High Commissioner and Secretary-General.

The topics that will be at the heart of the debate during this session include activities of the Special Fund, Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture and Other Crimes, Promotion and Protection of civil, political, economic, social and cultural, human rights including the right to development.
