CORCAS Participates in Universal Periodic Review (UPR) in Geneva

The Royal Advisory Council on Saharan Affairs participated in the Moroccan delegation September 21, 2017, in the session of the adoption of the final document resulting from the universal periodic review concerning Morocco, which took place in Geneva.

The Presidency of the Human Rights Council (HRC) issued a communiqué on the occasion, indicating that on the basis of the information received, Morocco accepted 191 recommendations out of the 244 submiited to it and took note of 55 other recommendations.

The periodic review of Morocco took place on May 2, 2017. The three rapporteurs responsible for facilitating this examination were Congo, United Arab Emirates and Panama.
