The Corcas is represented by a delegation consisting of Moulay Ahmed Mghizlate, Corcas member and Hassan Sbaï, cabinet director.

The opening session of the thirty-fourth session, which took place on Monday, 27 February, was marked by the speech of the new Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. António Guterres, the first since his inauguration.

The President of the 71st session of the General Assembly, Mr. Peter Thomson, High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein and Mr Didier Burkhalter, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, also inaugurated the session.

Joaquín Alexander Maza Martelli, President of the Human Rights Council, also spoke, noting that during this session the Council would have the honor of welcoming and hearing no fewer than 107 senior dignitaries. " This shows the importance attached to the mandate of the Council and human rights agenda," he said.
