In partnership with the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, OCAPROCE International is organizing Tuesday June 17 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva round table on the theme: "The role of women in the field of mediation and conflict resolution" on the sidelines of the annual session of the second regular of the UN Human Rights Council (10 - June 27).


Mrs. Saadani Maouelainin, CORCAS member, gave a presentation on the topic to highlight the importance of empowerment of women in general and Sahrawi women detainees in the camps of Tindouf, in particular, of their basic rights in order to allow them carry out their role in the settlement, mediation, due to their experience in the management of affairs and matters that revolve around the survival of any society.

Princesse Micheline Makou DJOUMA, head of the international NGO OCAPROCE International and its representative at the United Nations in Geneva, New York and Vienna, Dr. Krishna Ahuja Patel, representative of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) and its representative to the United Nations, Ms. Ariel Wagenknecht, represented by the International Federation of University Women, OCAPROCE representative to the United Nations in Geneva, and Mr. Morris Katala, the head of the IAPD and Main Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Ms. Awa Ndiaye, head of the international organization "Espace Afrique", and its main representative to the United Nations in Geneva.
