Corcas chairman said in statements to Moroccan TV channels after the conclusion of the second round of negotiations in Manhasset, New York that the second round of Manhasset negotiations made "no progress" towards resolving the Western Sahara conflict, and Polisario Front "needs great courage to take the necessary decision to move things away from inertia.

- Statement of the Council President (Al Oula Channel):
"This round did not make a progress in the sense that we can say the problem will be resolved soon, but demonstrated the willingness of Morocco to reach a solution quickly, and showed the attachment of the Polisario to its positions, not reflecting what stipulated in the recent resolution of the Security Council No 1754, and not reflecting reality"

- Statement of the Council President (2M Channel):
"Our Polisario brothers need independence in decision making. They need flexibility in negotiations courage to take the necessary decision to move things forward"
