Al Shirae: The Lebanese Magazine (Al Shirae) said that "whenever Morocco steps forward towards the unity of its territory in the issue of the Moroccan Sahara (..)the Algerian regime creates a problem that is not popular inside Algeria”.

In an article published in its last issue, the magazine referred to the recent visit by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Sahara regions. The article, signed by the Director-General and the Editor in Chief Hassan Sabra, described the Royal visit as a "national Moroccan initiative" and has won " unprecedented popular, political, and historic unanimity in the country”.

It believed that "this initiative should have been supported by Algeria, hence respecting Algerians conviction to get rid of this problem". It stressed that "the Algerian is opposed to the path chosen by the Algerian people, at a time when the King of Morocco is keen to respond to the aspirations of the people of Morocco."

It considered that the Algerian regime "is heading towards tension between the two brotherly and neighboring countries hence satisfying the enemies’ actions against the region’s stability. The magazine concluded that "Morocco’s democracy has united the positions of the authorities, people and parties" while the Algerian regime "moves from one problem to another, in addition to the continuing attrition of its economic, public and national forces".
