“The coming days will be more difficult for the Polisario separatists who are firmly attached to their obsolete ideas, remain standby waiting for their godfather instructions, particularly that the Sahara region is about to start a new phase autonomy, in conformity with the Royal speech pronounced at the occasion of the setting up of the advisory commission of regionalization, underlined the daily newspaper.

In an article published under the title of “Khat Achahid, a reformist movement within the Polisario and perspective of a solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue” , the Sudanese newspaper indicated that the autonomy initiative which grants to the inhabitants of the Sahara region a  substantial autonomy within the framework of the Moroccan sovereignty, has convinced  a number of Polisario leaders  of the impossibility to continue to serve through a party which has an internal and regional  interest that the conflict  endures

These latter says the newspaper strive to face the hegemonic politics of the present leadership of the Polisario

The newspaper has equally brought attention to the fact that “Khat Achahid” which “includes leaders of the Polisario, attempts to move away the movement from the intelligence service of a neighbouring country (Algeria), which has always use this issue against the high interests of the kingdom of Morocco, and that it does not care much about the future of sahraouis in tindouf refugee camps south of Algeria, added the newspaper.

The daily newspaper has equally recalled the latest statements of the “KHAT Achahid” movement, which have qualified the human rights situation in the Tindouf camps as being “catastrophic”, and call upon the Polisario leadership to resign in order to pave the way to young leaders who are willing to engage serious negotiations with the view to reach a global solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue.
The daily Sudanese newspaper has finally expressed the wish to see the Polisario prevails wisdom in order to reach a solution to the artificial conflict which last for a long time.
