Khalihenna Ould Errachid meets in Rabat with the Moroccan community living in various countries around the world

The new role of Moroccans residing abroad was the focus of a symposium organized on Saturday 29 July 2006 at the Farah Hotel in Rabat in the context of the school day organized by the Ministry in charge of the Moroccan community residing abroad to mark the thronecelebrations.

Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs said in a speech during the meeting, that Moroccans living abroad play an important role in the defense of the national cause at the international level, presenting the various events that marked the Sahara issue.

The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs gave an overview about self-government in the southern provinces, proposed by Morocco, as well as the Council's initiatives at the international level, recalling in this regard visits by the Council members to France, Spain and Belgium
