The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, met Tuesday, November 27, 2018, with Roger Nkodo Dang, Speaker of the Pan-African Parliament, who is on a working visit November 26 through 29 in the Kingdom.

The talks, which were attended by Vice Chairman Khaddad El Moussaoui and Moulay Ahmed Mghizlat, member, were marked by exchanges around the Moroccan Sahara and the stalemate in the conflict around this issue which prevents the realization of Maghreb integration in particular and continental in general.

After discussing the latest developments on this issue, Corcas chief exposed to his host the solution that Morocco has put on the UN negotiating table since 2007.

This proposal, in this case autonomy, was formulated by Saharawis themselves, through the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs which represents them, thus allowing to manage their local affairs by themselves.
