At the meeting, attended Secretary General, Dr. Ben Maouelainin Ben Khallihenna Maouelainin the chairman spoke about the history of the Sahara conflict in the regional and international context characterized by bipolarization at the era of the cold war between the west and east blocks.
He also discussed the UN role in the conflict settlement process on the basis of the autonomy plan submitted by Morocco in 2007 qualified as ultimate and equitable solution. This solution is based on consensus, dialogue and peace promotion.
