Suneana Glavak : we support Morocco's efforts to find a solution to the Sahara issue
The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Khalihenna Ould Errachid, received Tuesday, March 4, 2014 , at the Council’s headquarters a Croatian parliamentary delegation , led by Suneana Glavak , President of Croatia-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group and head of the HDZ party , Croatian democratic Union (right).
Mrs. Suneana Glavak said after the meeting that the " autonomy plan is a credible starting point to find a solution " to the conflict in the Sahara , adding , concerning the position of her country, " we support the efforts of Morocco to find a solution to the Sahara issue "
The Croatian delegation was composed of Domagoj Hajdukovic , member of SDP , Social Democratic Party of Croatia ( left center ) , Zlatko Mesic, MP from Laboristes Croats, Jasen Mesic and Olga Tolic , members of the HDZ .
During this visit, Corcas chairman and members of the Croatian parliamentary delegation raised the issue of the Sahara, the history of the conflict and its latest developments.
Mr Khalihenna also outlined the significant progress by Morocco in the Sahara region in socio- economic issues and human rights.
Corcas chairman also presented autonomy proposal by Morocco for the final settlement of the conflict solution in the southern provinces under Moroccan sovereignty, ensuring all political, economic, social and cultural rights for Sahrawis.
Corcas Secretary General, Dr. Maouelainin Ben Khalihanna Maoulainin and Vice -Chairman Khaddad Moussaoui took part in this meeting .
