Saadani Maouelainine, member of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas) and an associative activist in an international NGO, said that the international community must quickly address the systematic violations of human rights perpetrated by the Polisario in Tindouf camps in southern Algeria.


The activist of the Organization for the Communication in Africa and Promotion of International Economic Cooperation (OCAPROCE International), who intervened during the 41st session of the Human Rights Council added that the solution to put end to the sufferings of the Saharawis lies in the application of the autonomy initiative.


The representative of OCAPROCE for North Africa also mentioned the lack of freedom of expression in the camps because of the leadership of Polisario front to subdue all those who oppose their point of view or policy by demanding change.
