This meeting allowed to shed light on a situation of the Sahara issue which I did not know well (Roger Nkodo Dang)
The Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Khalihenna Ould Errachid, held, Tuesday in Rabat, talks with the speaker of the Pan African Parliament, Roger Nkodo Dang who is on a working visit to Morocco.
In a statement to MAP at the end of talks attended by Mr. Khaddad Moussaoui , Corcas vice chairman, the speaker of Pan African Parliament said the meeting allowed him to have an insight into 'a situation (of the Sahara issue) which was not well known to me, '' he said.
The talks also focused on the unity of the African continent so that Africa can truly flourish, he added Nkodo Dang.
Commenting other meetings he had with other Moroccan officials, the spaker of Pan African Parliament said the return of Morocco to the African Union is "of great importance" considering the Kingdom’s position in Africa and internationally.
