The Arab Ministerial Committee on Iran has reiterated its solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco against the interference of the Iranian regime and its ally "Hezbollah" in the internal affairs of the Kingdom.

A statement issued on the occasion of the Committee's meeting in Cairo stressed that the arming and training by Iran of separatist elements of the Polisario Front "threaten the territorial integrity, security and stability of Morocco.
"These dangerous and unacceptable practices are part of the continuity of the destabilizing approach of the Iranian regime towards regional security and stability," the statement said.

The committee met on the sidelines of the 159th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of foreign ministers, under the chairmanship of Saudi Arabia. Also participating as members were the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt, as well as the Secretary General of the League of Arab States.

The Committee also expressed its deep concern over the sectarianism fueled by Iran in the Arab countries, including its support and arming of terrorist militias and the resulting chaos and instability in the region.

This is likely to threaten Arab national security, thereby hindering regional efforts for a peaceful resolution of the problems and crises in the region.
