The 23rd anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to the Throne of His Glorious Ancestors, which will be celebrated tomorrow, Saturday, July 30, 2022, is a renewed opportunity to magnify the strong symbiosis between Moroccans and the glorious Alawite Throne and to remember the multiple achievements made by the Kingdom under the farsighted leadership of HM the King.

Indeed, July 30 is a date very dear to the hearts of all Moroccans who see it as a moment of communion and joy to express their unwavering attachment to the Sovereign's august person and to the immutable bonds of the Beya, this solid pact that has always united the Throne to the people under all circumstances.
The Throne Day thus illustrates, in the most beautiful way, the close union, which prevails at all times, between the people and illustrious Alaouite Dynasty, a communion which, forged by the common struggle for freedom and independence, reminds us without ambiguity of the greatness of the Moroccan Nation, solidity of its institutions and confidence of its people in a prosperous future, thanks to a Monarchy guaranteeing the durability and continuity of the State.

In His speech to the Nation on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of His enthronement (July 30, 2013), His Majesty the King affirmed that the commemoration of the Throne Day "does not only embody your constant loyalty to your First Servant to whom is devolved the mission of ensuring your leadership and preserving your unity."

This Day, the Sovereign added, "also symbolizes the reaffirmation, constantly renewed, of the pact of allegiance by which we mutually commit ourselves to advance Morocco on the path of progress, prosperity, development and stability. It finally gives tangible expression to your attachment to the immutable constants and sacred values of the Nation".

Indeed, since His accession to the Throne, the Sovereign has endeavored to set in motion numerous socio-economic projects, in parallel with the political and institutional reforms that His Majesty had initiated, in response to the aspirations of His faithful people. The celebration of the Throne Day is therefore a good opportunity to highlight the efforts made in this framework by HM the King for the respect of the dignity of the Moroccan citizen and his development.

As many observers say, the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI on July 30, 1999, marked the beginning of a new era marked by considerable progress in the various political, diplomatic, economic and social fields.

The ambitious reforms initiated by Morocco during the last two decades have undeniably contributed to place Morocco at a higher rank in terms of democratization, modernization and development and transformed the Kingdom into a huge open site, committed to the path of emergence and growth.

Thanks to the Sovereign's enlightened vision, the Kingdom has embarked on a virtuous dynamic of reform and modernization, based on the qualification of human resources and the development of sectoral policies covering, among others, education, administration, justice, industry, energy and agriculture.

This dynamic is in line with HM the King's desire to ensure comprehensive and integrated development of the whole country, to establish social justice, to consolidate the Kingdom's place on the regional and international scenes, and to enshrine the values of democracy and modernism, in perfect harmony with the foundations of the Moroccan identity and the values that form the basis of the national state.
