Costa Rica said, on Friday before the 4th Committee of the UN General Assembly, that it is in favor of a mutually acceptable political solution to the Moroccan Sahara issue.
The Deputy Permanent Representative of Costa Rica to the UN stressed that her country "continues to call for a political, just, lasting and acceptable solution by all parties to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara in accordance with relevant resolutions by the Security Council and the General Assembly.
