Some 425 suspected cases of contamination with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region have been dismissed following negative results of laboratory tests, the regional health directorate said on Friday.

The excluded cases are divided between the province of Oued Eddahab (327) and Aousserd (98), stresses the DRS in its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation in the region.
After the remission of two patients infected with covid-19 early April, the coronavirus contamination was null in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region.
The regional health authority had reassured public opinion on the epidemiological situation in Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, urging citizens to fully adhere to the preventive measures decreed by the authorities to stop the transmission of the virus.
