Russia reaffirm willingness to deepen political dialogue with Morocco on the settlement of the Moroccan Sahara
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held Tuesday a telephone conversation with Morocco's minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan expatriates, Nasser Bourita, during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations.
During the conversation, Russia reaffirmed its willingness to deepen political dialogue with Morocco on the settlement of the Moroccan Sahara issue and international and regional key issues, said Tuesday a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The two ministers also discussed the means to develop bilateral relations and the convening in Moscow of the upcoming Joint Intergovernmental Commission, the statement added.
The 8th Intergovernmental Joint Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation has been postponed, according to a diplomatic source.
