"We also support the efforts of the United Nations as the exclusive framework for resolving this regional dispute," Bom Jesus said at a press briefing after his talks with Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.

He added that the visit provided an opportunity to discuss several areas of cooperation, including investment in human capital.

For his part, Bourita thanked the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe for its continued support for Morocco's sacred causes, particularly with regard to the question of the Moroccan Sahara.
