Khalihenna Ould Errachid, head of the Royal Consultative Council for Saharan Affairs (Corcas), met Monday, November 04, 2019 with Delfim Santiago Das Neves, Speaker of the National Assembly of Sao Tome and Principe who is currently making a visit in Morocco at the head of a large delegation.

The meeting was devoted to developments in the Sahara issue, including the Moroccan initiative granting broad autonomy to the region. Mr. Ould Errachid recalled in this regard that it was the Sahrawis who conceived through their Council the project which has been welcomed by all the resolutions of the Security Council, since 2007, as a serious, realistic and credible solution.
