The Kingdom of Lesotho issued a Note from its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations formalizing its decision to "suspend all declarations or decisions" relating to the status of the Sahara and so-called "rasd", committing to "actively support the United Nations-led political process", and "positive neutrality in all subregional, regional and international meetings" referring to this issue.
"The publication of this Note follows today's telephone conversation between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Kingdom from Morocco, Nasser Bourita, and Lesotho Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Lesego Makgothi,"said a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
