The message sent by HM King Mohammed VI to participants in the latest African Union (AU) Summit, in Kigali (Rwanda), wherein the Sovereign announced the return of Morocco to the Union, is a "great diplomatic event", according to Polish e-paper "Bankier".

The "Bankier", which recalled the causes behind Morocco's withdrawal from the said Organization after it illegally accepted SADR's adherence, noted that, by deciding to reintegrate the AU, the Kingdom will better defend its interests, underlining that the Kingdom, including the Sahara, which is a part of its provinces, rejects the idea of independence or the holding of a referendum.  The e-paper also insisted on the fact that, after a 30-year absence, Morocco will be defending its interests, from now on, within the Union. HM King Mohammed VI, sent on July 17th a message to the 27th Summit of the African Union in Kigali. The Royal message was handed to the Chadian President Idriss Deby Itno, AU sitting President, by Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of the House of Representatives.
