(CORCAS)-  Following the ordinary session of December 2006, whose agenda focused on housing in the southern provinces, the chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, held, Wednesday, at the Council headquarters, along with the officials of Al Omrane holding and in the presence of CORCAS Secretary-General Maouelainin Maouelainin Ben Khalihenna, a work meeting dedicated to the follow up of projects on urbanization and housing in the Saharan provinces.


After following with great interest the presentation on the progress report of various projects, Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid thanked Al Omrane holding officials for their firm commitment and the serious work which have allowed considerable advance of these projects aiming at eradicating slums in this region.

The CORCAS chairman exhorted Al Omrane group officials to continue their efforts in order to realize all projects, inviting them to take into account the recommendations made during the CORCAS session of December 2006.

This meeting comes within the framework of a number of follow up meetings that CORCAS and Al Omrane Group hold in order to speed up the projects realization.

The next meeting will be held on March 19th.
