 Prime Minister Abbas El Fassi, described as "very important" his official visit to Vietnam and his meetings with senior officials of that country, which opens promising prospects for bilateral relations in many areas.



In a statement to the press after a three-day visit (November 24-26) in this country, Mr. El Fassi said that his talks with his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Tan Dung, who covered many topics of bilateral, regional and international aspects, including the issue of territorial integrity of the Kingdom, were constructive and fruitful.

Mr. Tan Dung has noted with satisfaction data on the Moroccan autonomy initiative by the Kingdom to reach a final solution to the Sahara issue," said El Fassi, adding that this constitutes an encouragement for a solution based on an extended regionalization and autonomy in the region of Sakiet Eddahab Oued El Hamra.

Mr. Tan Dung expressed the wish of the government and the Vietnamese people to see bilateral relations further develop in all fields,"said the Prime Minister.
