Mr. Mustapha Bouh, recently appointed Ambassador of Morocco in Angola, said that " Algeria is fully responsible for the acts and decisions of the Polisario, as it hosts this puppet entity on its territory and provides it with support. "

Mr. Bouh, who was the guest of "Moubachir Maa" program broadcast Saturday evening by Al Jazeera channel on "Morocco and the autonomy proposal in the Sahara", added that " the Polisario is not master of the decisions to find a solution to the Sahara issue. "

"If barriers continue to be drawn up before the political solution to the issue of the Sahara, Morocco will not impede its development and administrative organization," he continued.

Mr. Bouh said that the United Nations and influential members in the Security Council welcomed the Moroccan proposal for autonomy in the southern provinces.

The Moroccan proposal is not coincidental. It was presented after the UN had expressed the inability to hold a referendum in the southern provinces of the Kingdom, he noted.

Regarding the issue of human rights, he affirmed that Morocco is the only Arab country to have treated this subject with courage, mainly through the creation of the Equity and Reconciliation Commission (IER). Morocco, a country where human rights are respected, can feel proud of the fact that human rights advocates from the southern provinces express their views freely abroad, without any harm being brought to their safety or integrity.

Mr. Bouh also mentioned serious violations of human rights perpetrated in the Tindouf camps, where there is no freedom of opinion or press, neither justice nor fair trial "and where the order is governed by a political structure to monitor movements of people in an area tightly closed.

He also added that the majority of former "historical leaders" of the Polisario have returned to their homeland, including former military leaders, ministers and members of the alleged political bureau of Polisario.
