"Our position since 1975 has not changed [...]. We support the Kingdom's territorial integrity," said Mr. Al Baraami in a statement to MAP, on the occasion of the celebration of the 51st anniversary of his country's national day, which coincides with Morocco's celebration of the glorious Independence Day.
The Omani diplomat also recalled that the month of November coincides with the anniversary of the Green March, noting that the Sultanate of Oman was one of the countries that participated in this glorious national epic in 1975.
The Sultanate of Oman is "at the side of Morocco," he said, assuring that his country considers that "this part of the Moroccan territory is an integral part of the Kingdom."
Al Baraami also expressed his congratulations to HM King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people on the occasion of the glorious Independence Day.
He also underlined the achievements made by his country in the sectors of health, education, industry, communications, roads, new industrial cities, free zones, ports and airports.
