Corcas delegation headed by Mr. Khalihenna Ould Errachid, who was accompanied by the Council's Secretary-General  Mr. Maoulainain Ben Khalihenna met with the Moroccan community and the people from southern provinces at the headquarters of the Moroccan consulate in Las Palmas on Saturday in presence of the Kingdom's Consul.


Mr. President took the floor first, tackling the following issues:
- The positive results of meetings with political leaders and government officials, reflected in various audio-visual and written media coverage.
- Collective desire of actors to provide assistance in solving this problem
- Establishment of CORCAS on 25/03/2006 in Laayoune after the visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the southern provinces
- This is conclusive evidence of the change of the state policy about the Moroccan Sahara
- CORCAS royal institution charged with the administration of autonomy
- Autonomy is reconciliation and final settlement of the past
- Reconciliation of the Administration with Sahrawis generally, including our brothers in the Polisario Front
- autonomy is building the future of the region, meets the historical, political and economic demands of the southern territories and preserves the dignity of Sahrawis their personality, traditions and customs
- Speech by His Majesty the King on 25/03/2006 public recognition by the king and his people that Sahrawis are essential component of the Moroccan State
- Recognition permits the Sahara inhabitants to contribute to writing the history of the Kingdom as they wrote it in all stages of the Moroccan State
- Failure of the war option
- Referendum is not possible, United Nations recognized it.
- Disastrous situation in the camps, and the population living from assistance provided by the Spanish associations
- Exploitation of the reality of the camps for personal and electoral ends
- Camps citizens suffer from all aspects
- Freedom of movement of the separatists in Laayoune and across the world and their free declarations, unlike the situation of people in the camps who are deprived of mobility and access to administrative documents

- Isolation suffered by the camps these days, due to protests in the Tindouf camps
- With so we want to forget the past and open a new page based on reconciliation and mutual understanding and build a promising future
- CORCAS prepares autonomy project for all Sahrawis, which requires the participation of the Polisario Front, according to international legitimacy

The audience raised in their speeches the following topics:
- Laayoune TV should reflect the reality and should become the only source of news, instead of resorting to the Internet, which is controlled by the Polisario
- National consensus on the Sahara
- Failure of security approach and its role in the growing separation
- Security, safety and stability claims of the Saharan population
- Involving young people in decision-making
-  Restoring confidence between the administration and citizens
- Remnants of 30 years of conflict
- Problems of the Sahrawi community during the return
- CORCAS still did not give something and the Saharan people want tangible things
- Unemployment
- Cooperation among Sahrawis
- Support by Associations
- Problem of minor migrants
- Assistance and facilitating the establishment of projects in southern Morocco

In response to these interventions, CORCAS chairman said the Council is focusing development in southern areas as a priority after final solution to the problem of the Sahara
