Polisario and Algerian lies were exposed in Santiago de Chile by former supporter on untruths conveyed in order to hide “human rights violations, theft of humanitarian aid and abduction and imprisonment of persons ”.

In a column published in the Chilean review “ElSiete.cl La Revista”, Rafael Pizarro claims to be a victim for several years of  lies of separatists who try to make their way within Chilean NGOs by means of speeches based on misleading parallelisms with excesses of the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet.

In this article, entitled “Deception of which we were the target: The true face of Polisario”, Professor Rafael Pizarro enumerated a series of untruths conveyed in Chile by Esteban Silva, the regular support of separatists “who openly lied (…) to people he used ”.

Faced with the misappropriation by Polisario leaders of humanitarian aid sent to refugees from Europe, persecution of dissidents, imprisonment and even  assassinations of members of the movement, Rafael Pizarro said he was the victim of disinformation and have been misled.“

I humbly admit my error, due to misinformation, and I apologize to those I have disqualified, because of the blindness induced by joining a cause that I considered just but which turned out to be false , “ Wrote the author of this self-criticism.

However, the emergence of the Sahrawi Peace Movement (MSP), made up of former Polisario members, revealed that the separatist leaders “have ordered the imprisonment, torture and murder of those who show some dissent” .

According to the author, "Those of us who believed in a libertarian project have come to realize that we are being manipulated and exploited by a corrupt and mercenary leadership."

“Now, I say that I fully share the proposal made by Morocco to the United Nations to resolve the dispute over the Sahara, for the simple reason that it is the most serious and responsible proposal that we have seen.

I subscribe to this humane and inclusive solution which will bring peace and progress to the region and its inhabitants, " said Rafael Pizarro, a retired teacher.

“I have decided to devote the last years of my life to trying to contribute to the denunciation of human rights violations, in particular in favor of those to whom I owe a debt, these people who have been kidnapped and imprisoned in Tindouf camps with my complicity during the previous years. I apologize once more, " wrote the human rights activist.
