The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mr. Salaheddine Mezouar, received, on Tuesday, October 20th, 2015 in Fez, his Emirati counterpart HH. Cheikh Abdellah Ibn Zayed Al Nahyan, on an official visit to the Kingdom along with a delegation of senior Emirati officials.
This meeting, marked by the spirit of brotherhood, mutual understanding and support, was an opportunity to assess and monitor the state of implementation of the agreements signed last March, during HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi’s visit to Morocco.
In this regard, the two Ministers expressed their satisfaction with the progress made in the implementation of these projects.
As far as the Moroccan Sahara issue is concerned, the Emirati official reiterated the consistent position of the UAE supporting the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and the autonomy initiative, referring to it as "serious, realistic and credible."
