The obvious support of Indonesia to Morocco was expressed by the Indonesian official during a meeting with the Moroccan ambassador, Mohamed Majdi tackling the question of Sahara, and other issues of common interest. Mr Zulkifli has declared that Jakarta considered the Moroccan autonomy proposal for the southern provinces as a serious idea which should be supported by the Indonesians Republic.

The Moroccan ambassador in Indonesia has revealed the artificial separatist nature of the Sahara issue , and the financial support that separatists enjoy from Algeria , which could threaten the security of the region , he equally mentioned the ongoing process of  dispute settlement  resolution under the  auspices of the UN  with the aim to  achieving a just and lasting solution .

The Indonesian support to Morocco about the Sahara dispute came   following the suffering of this Asian country from the experience of separatism of the Oriental Timor, which becomes during the last years an example one of the poorest countries in the World.

The Polisario maintains solid relations with Oriental Timor . In this respect the Polisario front has welcomed the nomination of former President of Oriental Timor, José Horta , as a leader of the peacekeeping operation team by the UN secretary General .

Mr Horta   has visited on several occasions Tindouf camps , where he met the Polisario officials
