"I just reiterate the support of my country and Parliament of Guinea-Bissau to the Moroccan Sahara," Cipriano Cassama told MAP after an interview with Mrs. Mbarka Bouaida, Minister delegate with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
"The position of Guinea-Bissau about the Sahara issue is clear and unambiguous," he added, noting the convergence of views between the two countries on several issues of common interest.
The speaker of the National Assembly of Guinea Bissau, further expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people for all aid granted by the Kingdom to Guinea-Bissau.
The Guinean official also welcomed the cooperation agreement signed on the same day with his Moroccan counterpart Rachid Talbi Alami, speaker of the House of Representatives for the exchange of experiences, visits and development of relations between legislative institutions of the two countries.
