Shocking testimonies about sequestration in the absence of control by international community


Saadani Maouelainin, member of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs , participated Tuesday at the Human Rights Council in Geneva, where Corcas is participating within the Moroccan delegation in the works of the 25th session of the HRC March 3-28, 2014 in a conference on "Women in conflict zones ."


Saadani Maouelainin highlighted the plight of Sahrawi women who suffer kidnapping in Tindouf camps in Algeria , a country which refuses until today to meet its commitments to the people in the camps in accordance with the 1951 Convention on refugees and the Additional Protocol relating thereto (1967) , when thousands of women , children and families undergo sequestration with absence of control from the international community of the deteriorated situation and failure to respect their rights.

The inhuman situation that exists in the Tindouf camps has been highlighted during the conference, attended by international activists of human rights, including Princess Micheline Makou Juma , representative of several NGOs at the United Nations and President of the organization " OCAPROCE International " whose representative in Morocco in Saadani Maouelainin . 

The Corcas Delegation represented also by Moulay Ahmed Mghizlat continues its works in Geneva , through cooperation and coordination with multiple instances and foreign delegations represented in Geneva to defend the Moroccan Sahara cause.
