The chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs, held talks Tuesday, December 11, 2012, with Guillermo Ramon Carmona, President of the External Affairs Committee at the House of Deputies of Argentina, who is paying a working visiting to Morocco, December10 -12.



The interview tackled the latest developments in the Sahara issue, especially in light of the Moroccan autonomy initiative, described as realistic and credible to the artificial conflict over the Sahara. This question can not remain at an impasse because of the suffering of people who are in the Polisario camps in Tindouf in Algeria, as well as the evolution of the security and political situation in the Sahel region.

The Argentinean parliamentary official had several meetings with Moroccan officials both within parliament and at the level of the executive body.

This meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Council, Dr Maouelainin Ben Khalihanna Maoulainin, Khaddad El Moussaoui, Vice-Chairman and Mghizlat Ahmed, member of the Council.
