During this conversation between Corcas Chairman and Hector Heli Rojas, President of the Parliament’s speaker of the  Andean  group and the accompanying delegation discussed recent developments in the Sahara, after the resumption of negotiations in order to find a just and definitive solution on the basis of the Moroccan proposal granting autonomy to the Sahara region.

Khalihenna Ould Errachid explained to his guests the history of artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara, the decolonization process that took place over several stages, as well as the content of the autonomy plan, to which Corcas contributed to its drafting as a representative of the various Sahrawi tribes.

He presented the broad advantages that this project gives to the Sahara people region in the management of their local affairs at the political, economic, social and cultural levels.

The parliamentary delegation of Latin America is paying an official visit to Morocco, between 4 and 7 November. It consists of: Hildebrando Tapia Samaniego, Vice-President of the Andean Parliament for Peru, Choquetarqui Gorge, Vice-President of the Andean Parliament for Bolivia, William Velez Mesa, Vice-President Andean Parliament for Colombia, Ruben Dario Velez Nunez, Secretary General of the Andean Parliament, Victor  Hernando Alvarado, Advisor, Carlos Augusto Chacón, Advisor to the President and Pedro Miguel Gonzalez, Counselor.

This very important group in the Latin America region includes Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru Colombia and Chile, which is an observer member.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Council, Dr Maouelainin Ben Khalihanna Maoulainin and Ahmed Mghizlat, Corcas member.
