Belgian Deputy: Their refusal to give us access means that there must be something hidden

Algeria denied a group of Belgian deputies access to Tindouf, where they intended to carry out investigations into the deportation of Sahrawi children to Cuba.

"A group of Belgian deputies requested an authorization to visit Tindouf camps in order to meet children, but unfortunately we did not obtain it,” deplored the deputy of Brussels’ parliament Gisèle Mandaila.

In a statement to MAP, Mandaila added that the refusal by Algeria to allow access to Tindouf demonstrates that both Algerian authorities and the polisario want to keep the veil over the tragic situation lived by innocent Sahrawi children, who continue to be indoctrinated in Cuba.

Mandaila, a former Belgian Secretary of State in charge of family and the physically disabled, denounced all attempts at dismantling Morocco and other African states under the cover of the right to independence.
